Our Valley Socials outreach program helps local businesses in and around Woodland Hills, California to create awareness of how they can help the special needs community. About Our Awareness Certification Program

We offer an awareness certification program that teaches proper etiquette and approaches of how to understand individuals with autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, and other disabilities. Once your business completes our short program, you are given a Social Diamond Award, which can be added to our Social Listings Directly. This is advertised to the families of our special needs teens and adults, so they know that they can visit your establishment and have an understanding of their child(ren) while they’re there. By becoming a special needs-friendly establishment, you not only are growing more aware of different people in our local area, but also providing a safe place for these families to visit and access your business as loyal clientele.

Community Awareness Certification

After working through our awareness certification program, you must complete a Community Awareness Certification. This quiz asks you various scenarios with special needs individuals and how to approach each situation. If you pass the quiz, you earn this award and are added to our directory. We do ask for a donation depending on the size of your business, which is shown on our certification page on our website.
